There are no direct flights into Eagle, so some folks prefer to fly direct into Denver and take a shuttle to Beaver Creek (depending on weather, it is about a 2.5 hour ride) instead of having a layover and connecting flight. Eagle County airport is about 30 minutes from Beaver Creek.
